For all die-hard fans of desi thriller genre out there, 23rd October is the ‘D-Day’, we have been eagerly waiting for the last two years. ‘Mirzapur 2’, the much-awaited series by Amazon Prime will be releasing its second season and who isn’t excited? Right!Don’t worry, we’ve got your back, where we will jolt up a small summary of season 1 so you don’t miss out on anything. So here we go!

Narrated in the background of a fictional town, ‘Mirzapur’ where Akhandanand Tripathi a.k.a. ‘Kaleen Bhaiya’ (Pankaj  Tripathy) runs a drugs and arms business. Tripathi’s son ‘Phulchand’ a.k.a ‘Munna bhaiya’(Divyendu) is an arrogant and spoilt brat who thinks everything is his father’s property.

Mirzapur series has nine episodes and each episode got its own thrill and we bet you can’t leave it midway until the last. The story also focuses on the brother duo, Guddu and Bablu who newly got the power and wants to do something ‘HATKE!’ In this process they got into the hit list of few people including Munna. The story takes several twists and turns, climax being the best where Bablu, Sweety (Guddu’s wife) were killed by Munna and his clan.

The recent trailer of Mirzapur 2 unveiled many questions including who will be the next heir of Mirzapur, especially the rise of Munna from the shadow’s of his father. Will he rebel against his own father to become the New King of Mirzapur? Can Guddu stop him?

The biggest mystery of the season 2 is whether Guddu (Ali Fazal) will take revenge on Kaleen and Munna for killing his brother and wife. The trailer also introduced new characters and the twisted plots.
