It’s that time of the year when we say love is in the air and no one can promote love better than Bollywood. This year won’t be any different as Bollywood is all set to serve us a dose of romance mixed with other genres.
Best of Bollywood:
7th Feb will see the release of not one but three films. Shikara, Malang and Hacked will compete for the audience’s attention. Vidhu Vinod Chopra has always been vocal about his Kashmiri roots. ‘Shikara’ chronicles the plight of Kashmiri Pandits. The trailer looks quite promising and fans are eager to catch up on the other side of Kashmir story.
However, Shikara will face a tough competition from the star-studded Malang. Directed by Mohit Suri, it stars Anil Kapoor, Disha Patani and Aditya Roy Kapur. Although the trailer of Malang has left everyone with confusion as audiences were expecting the magic of Ek Villain to be revived. Hacked, starring Hina Khan and directed by Vikram Bhatt is the third film to hit screens on the same day.
The biggest film of the month which has created a lot of buzz is ‘Love Aaj Kal’ starring Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan. (14th Feb). This Imtiaz Ali film is a remake of the movie of the same title. Its trailer got thrashed by the audience, leaving the box office hurdle a bit harder for Kartik Aaryan. Giving him a tough challenge is another golden boy of Bollywood, Vicky Kaushal and his Bhoot part 1. But, we doubt how effectively Karan Johar can handle a horror franchise post ‘Ghost Stories’ debacle on Netflix.
Ayushmann Back with Gay Romance:
But, there is one movie that might upset the hopes of all these movies at BO. Ayushmann Khurrana’s gay romance, ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’ marks the comeback of Gajraj Rao and Neena Gupta along with talented comedian Jitendra Kumar.
The trailer has garnered a lot of positive reviews and Ayushmann is all set for another blockbuster success with this rib-tickling flick.
This is our pick of best films of February, so what are you gonna watch?
