‘Life is just like the game of LUDO’
Anurag Basu is back again with his metier style where he beautifully stitched four coulorful stories together just like the game of ‘ludo’. With four key players and one man, ‘Sattu Bhaiya’ (Pankaj Tripathi), the local ‘Pablo’ rolling the dice, the movie has everything from adventure to emotion, drama, humour and romance like cherry on the top.
It would be complete injustice if we disclose the story because one needs to watch out himself for the creativity in this 150 minutes of visual bliss. Each of the characters represents a vibrant colour and their surroundings also revealed. Also, the movie highlights an interesting topic about ‘karma’ as well as the philosophy of ‘Paap’ and ‘Punya’.
As we have said earlier, Anurag Basu did it again. Each scene of the movie is blended with perfection and creativity. Cinematography and dialogues complimented the whole movie very beautifully and captured the true essence of each character. Now coming to the acting part – Abhisekh Bachchan stole the show with his one scene wherein he emotes through is eyes. Besides, the casting was top-notch as each character blended like pure gold. One of the most interesting part about this movie surely would be its music. The 1950’s song from ‘Albela’ comming jelled perfectly with the scenes it was used and gave the perfect pun-a-tic moments. Finally, ‘LUDO’ is perfect movie to brighten up your day, any day.*sings ‘O beta ji!
