Sporting activities in the country took a toll after the 15-day Coronavirus lockdown. Amid the crisis, Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged celebrities and sportspersons to contribute to the PM Cares Fund which is being dedicated to address Coronavirus related issues.

Narendra Modi, ahead of the nine-minute ‘Power of light’ initiative is now holding a video conference with BCCI president Sourav Ganguly. This is the first time the PM is holding discussion with the head of a sports body after Corona pandemic hit the nation. Ganguly will join the conference from his home in Kolkata. Indian skipper Virat Kohli and cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar will also participate in the meeting.

The video conference may discuss the possibility of awareness campaigns and financial support for the central government. The topic of conducting IPL 2020 which looks highly unlikely this year, will also be touched upon during the meeting. Prominent cricketers including Virat, Rohit Sharma and Mithali Raj already pledged support to Centre’s initiatives on Corona.

I enjoy soliloquy, speaking to myself. But what I am capable of is a bit different, I can create many persons in my head and can speak with them. I keep myself at one end and my audience in the other end to create a conversation. Precisely that is what I put on paper, that is what I do whenever I write something, an undefined version of traditional soliloquy. To conclude, I just wanted to say I enjoy writing!
