With Shikhar Dhawan earning Rs 8.25 crore from the Punjab Kings, the senior Indian players knew that some great bidding was going on. While Trent Bolt won Rs 5 crore from Rajasthan Royals, he laughed at the bank by auctioning off Rs 8 crore from Rajasthan Royals with his left-handed swing bowling. The Gujarat Titans acquired Mohammad Shami for Rs 6.75 crore for the same amount as the Lucknow Giants paid for Quinton de Kok.
