1983 World Cup

How can we begin without mentioning India’s historic win at Lord’s? Kapil’s Devils, who came in as underdogs, pulled off a major upset against reigning champions West Indies at the Home of Cricket during the 83’ summer. This epic win transformed cricket as the No:1 sport in the country.


1985 World Series

In 1985, India proved the cricket world that their 1983 win was not by luck. The young team played a much more dominant cricket and crowned glory with Ravi Shastri winning the Man of the Series award.

2007 T20 World Cup

A young side under an inspiring leader MS Dhoni wrote history at Johannesburg in a memorable final. Who can forget the Mishbah scoop and Sreesanth’s catch which could have brought a couple of tears on your face! Because it was India’s first world title after waiting for 24 years,

 2011 World Cup

Dhoni’s men created an everlasting memory in front of the home crowd at the iconic Wankhede Stadium on April 2, 2011. His winning six off Nuvan Kulasekhara could be one of the most cherishable moments for an Indian fan. 

2013 Champions Trophy

India had previously shared the trophy with Sri Lanka in the 2002 edition. What made this win sweeter was that India had some forgettable outings in the previous editions. The icing of the cake was that Dhoni’s men lifted the title by defeating the hosts, England.
