If you’re a teenager, there’s bright hope for every Summer. School days done and dusted, the social hierarchy out of the window and wide range of exploring possibilities.
Unfortunately, it isn’t the same for teens in Hawkins, Indiana. The terrifying parallel Universe of the Upside-Down re-opens and the drippy monster takes charge creating havoc all around! Guess you’ve figured out what Stranger Things is all about!
A sneak peek into the earlier seasons: Set in the fictional town of Hawkins, in the 1980s, the first season, focuses on the investigation into the disappearance of a young boy amid supernatural events occurring around the town, including the appearance of a girl with psychokinetic abilities who helps the missing boy’s friends in their own search. The second season, is set one year later, and deals with attempts of the characters to return to normality and consequences that linger from the first season.
Stranger Things 3, the third instalment of the mind-wobbling Netflix series, is much more breath-taking yet devastating! Set in 1985 Summer, Eleven (the girl with powers) and her gang are up against shadowy real-world villains trying to open the portal to get into another dimension.
People went frenzy for the first season- for this being one of a kind series. The second season though, could not match the expectations, leaving the users with trivial feelings about the whole concept of Stranger Things.
The Duffer Brothers, directors of this series, are keen to bring back the charm S1 laid on watchers; they manage to strike a better balance by venturing on risky plot points.
Netflix has the broadcasting rights for Stranger Things, and it is live now, July 4th being the release date.
S3 of Stranger Things has a lot of twists and turns to offer, and binge-racers, looks like we are in for a feast here!
